Terms of use

Website terms governing access to CERTCRYPT public websites and pages

Last updated: March 16, 2026

These Terms of use govern access to and use of certcrypt.com and related public CERTCRYPT websites and subdomains, including public *.certcrypt.com properties operated directly by CERTCRYPT.

By accessing or using these public websites, you agree to these Terms and to comply with applicable law. If you do not agree, you should not use the website.

1. Website operator and current status

These public websites are operated by CERTCRYPT.

CERTCRYPT is currently in a controlled pre-launch phase. Access to public pages, blog content, documentation pages, legal notices, contact channels, or use case submission flows does not imply operational access to any certification infrastructure, SDK, production environment, service environment, or future public tooling.

Descriptions of present or future infrastructure, operational models, or technical direction are provided for public explanatory purposes and may change over time.

For general inquiries regarding these Terms, you may contact [email protected].

2. Scope of these terms

These Terms apply to the public CERTCRYPT websites and subdomains operated directly by CERTCRYPT, including informational pages, thesis materials, legal pages, contact pages, documentation pages, blog pages, and related public resources.

They govern public website access only. They do not themselves create any separate product, service, onboarding, partnership, issuer, or infrastructure relationship.

If CERTCRYPT later enters into any formal operational relationship with you or your organization, that relationship will be governed by separate written terms or agreements.

3. Informational nature of website content

All content provided through these public websites is for general informational purposes only. This includes architectural descriptions, conceptual models, explanatory articles, technical commentary, legal notices, public roadmap-style references, and educational materials.

Nothing on these websites should be understood as legal advice, regulatory advice, investment advice, financial promotion, audit advice, compliance advice, or a binding commitment to provide any product or service.

Public content may describe concepts, architectures, categories of use case, or structural positions. Such material is explanatory in nature and may be updated, refined, limited, or withdrawn at any time.

4. No offer, solicitation, or commitment

Nothing on these public websites constitutes an offer, solicitation, invitation, or commitment to provide a regulated service, financial instrument, token, certification service, or access right of any kind.

References to infrastructure, certification models, operational capacity, or use case review should not be interpreted as creating any present entitlement, reservation of capacity, guaranteed onboarding path, or future service commitment.

Any language describing review, selection, prioritization, or future operational development is descriptive only and does not create contractual rights or obligations.

5. No contractual or reliance relationship

Accessing or using these public websites does not create a contractual relationship, fiduciary relationship, partnership, agency relationship, advisory relationship, or any right to rely on future availability of infrastructure or services.

You remain responsible for your own technical, operational, legal, commercial, and regulatory decisions. Public website materials should not be treated as a substitute for your own independent evaluation.

Any future operational engagement, if applicable, will be governed only by separate formal agreements expressly entered into for that purpose.

6. Acceptable use

You may use these public websites only for lawful and legitimate purposes consistent with their public informational and communication function.

You agree not to attempt unauthorized access to systems, interfere with security mechanisms, disrupt availability, introduce malicious material, or engage in abusive or unlawful conduct through the website.

You also agree not to conduct automated scraping, extraction, or monitoring beyond reasonable technical limits or in a manner that interferes with site availability, security controls, or operational integrity.

CERTCRYPT may restrict, suspend, or block access in response to misuse, suspected misuse, excessive automated activity, hostile behavior, or violations of these Terms.

7. Contact and use case submissions

If you submit a message through the contact form or submit a use case through the website, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is lawful, accurate, and that you are entitled to provide it.

You should not submit unlawful material, malicious content, or unnecessary sensitive personal data through public website forms. You should also avoid submitting information that you are not authorized to disclose.

Submission of a contact request or use case does not create any obligation for CERTCRYPT to respond, to provide follow-up communication, to prioritize your request, or to enter into further engagement.

Use case submissions are reviewed internally. Submission does not imply acceptance, selection, onboarding, prioritization, or any right to future access. CERTCRYPT may respond only where clarification is needed or where a use case appears relevant.

CERTCRYPT reserves the right to decline, ignore, filter, or discontinue responses to incomplete, abusive, duplicative, non-relevant, or otherwise unsuitable submissions.

For information about how CERTCRYPT handles personal data submitted through the website, please see our Privacy policy.

8. Rights in submitted material

By submitting information through public website forms, you represent that you have the right to provide that material for the limited purpose of communication or internal use case review.

You retain whatever rights you already hold in your own submitted material. However, you grant CERTCRYPT a limited right to receive, store, review, and internally process the submitted material for the purpose for which it was submitted, including abuse prevention, internal assessment, response handling, and operational review.

This limited submission-related permission does not, by itself, create any publication right, commercial use right, or obligation on CERTCRYPT to retain, act upon, or return the submitted material.

9. Intellectual property and brand use

Unless otherwise stated, the website content, text, graphics, branding, design elements, interface components, logos, and visual assets are the property of CERTCRYPT or are used under applicable rights.

You are granted only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to access and view the public website for lawful informational purposes.

No right is granted to reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, frame, mirror, adapt, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from the website or its content without prior authorization, except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise.

Use of the CERTCRYPT name, marks, branding, or public materials in a way that implies affiliation, endorsement, official participation, or formal relationship is prohibited unless separately authorized.

10. External services and third-party content

These public websites may reference, embed, or link to third-party services, resources, or websites that are not controlled by CERTCRYPT.

CERTCRYPT is not responsible for third-party content, external service availability, third-party terms, or third-party privacy and security practices.

Your access to or use of external services is at your own discretion and subject to the terms and policies of those external providers.

11. Availability, changes, and pre-launch flexibility

Website content, structure, legal notices, documentation pages, blog pages, form flows, and public explanatory materials may be modified, suspended, relocated, or removed at any time without prior notice.

Because CERTCRYPT is in a controlled pre-launch phase, public materials may evolve rapidly as architecture, positioning, governance, operational boundaries, or compliance requirements develop.

CERTCRYPT does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete continuity, absence of defects, or permanent preservation of any public page or feature. The website is provided on an "as available" and "as published" basis.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CERTCRYPT makes no warranty or representation that public website materials are complete, current, accurate, error-free, or suitable for your specific purpose.

CERTCRYPT does not warrant that the website will always be secure, continuously available, free from interruption, or free from technical defects, delays, or vulnerabilities.

Any reliance you place on public website content is at your own risk. You are responsible for independently evaluating whether any public information is appropriate for your use.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CERTCRYPT shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or similar damages arising out of or in connection with use of, inability to use, or reliance on these public websites.

This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of business, loss of opportunity, interruption, reputational loss, or losses arising from third-party services, linked resources, website unavailability, or misuse of public materials by third parties.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where liability cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

14. Suspension, restriction, and enforcement

CERTCRYPT may restrict, suspend, filter, or block access to all or part of the website where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, maintenance, legal compliance, infrastructure protection, or enforcement of these Terms.

CERTCRYPT may also take appropriate technical or administrative measures in response to suspicious, abusive, or non-compliant behavior affecting public website operations.

15. Governing framework and severability

These Terms are interpreted under the applicable legal frameworks relevant to the operation of these public CERTCRYPT websites.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.

16. Updates to these terms

These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect website changes, operational changes, legal developments, or structural changes to CERTCRYPT and its public websites.

The effective revision date is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
